hi denise, I guess i can comment here right on this post. well i like quilling mainly due to 3D figures we make with it.. I enjoy making 3D dolls n flower pots n stuff apart from card. best thing about quilling I felt is that i can convert any of my idea on paper using just few strips of paper..

I would quite like to be able to make the art pieces my friend does with quilling.....she does scale models of antique buildings (among other things!)
I've been quilling for a while now (7 years or so) but have kept to simple patterns and designs. I want to move to more elaborate and difficult patterns to build up my skills and share with friends.

I was introduced to quilling about 20 years ago when I saw a beautiful snowflake made by a 12 yr. old boy. I said "Wow, if a 12 yr. old boy can make something like that, I want to learn how to do it too." Since then, I have made thousands of snowflakes plus a whole lot more. It is a unique craft and makes great gifts. I now have my quilling in a little shop on Main St. I've posted some pictures on facebook.

I would love to learn since I just did it once in a craft class that a friend had..... I made a little snowflake..would love to do the flowers that I see on so many projects... and the animals..divine.

I love that I can customize my own handmade quilled embellishments to match any project I'm working on. It's a therepeutic and relaxing form of crafting.
I would like to be able to create whole scenes! And 3D items like baskets of flowers.
